    Mountaineering Freedom of the hills

515dhm23jzl_aa240_ Originally published in 1960 this book is the cornerstone of any climber, trekker, or Search and Rescue Professionals library .  Even though this book is written with the mountains in mind the lessons conveyed are applicable in any environment.  As we dive deeper, and deeper into the intricacies of working in the outdoors an understanding of this books lessons becomes invaluable.  My copy is the 7th edition, and with each change comes the most up to date material available.  This book is available from Amazon.
